It is in my right nostril, and half an inch above. My doctor has me on acyclovir as a remedy "potential". I do not take madications, if not absolutely necessary.

Eww that sounds unpleasant. The two sites that I saw on the net said that the best treatment, "something special" (or cut) to remove them.
